| 01/11/07: and once again, the MTV Europe Music Awards are there. This time from Munich. No funny highlights to report, we saw Amy Winehouse stunned speechless while accepting the award, live performances from the Foo Fighters, who also co-hosted the event, Mika, Avril Lavigne, among others, plus Bedwetters, an Estonian band, winner of the "New Sounds of Europe" award. The show was broadcast live on all european versions of MTV, but it had live subtitling on MTV Italia, which was a couple of minutes in delay, and then there was comments in local languages on MTV Adria, plus translations on MTV Ukraine and MTV France. In addition, the show was broadcast one hour later in the UK and Ireland, and then shown throughout the night on all spin-off channels of MTV in the UK. HD facilities provided by Alfacam |
